至2020年，中国骨质疏松症或骨量低的患者将达到2.9亿，社会危害巨大，目前双膦酸盐、降钙素等虽为常用有效药物，但因其不良反应，临床应用受到限制，中医药治疗骨质疏松症是一个新选择，在《原发性骨质疏松症诊治指南讨论稿(2011 年)》中指出：“国内已有数种经SFDA 批准的治疗骨质疏松的中成药。多数有缓解症状、减轻骨痛的疗效。中药关于改善骨密度、降低骨折风险的大型临床研究尚缺乏，长期疗效和安全性需进一步研究”。这需要中成药开展更多的高质量临床研究。芪骨胶囊是我省唯一一个骨质疏松症治疗新药，II/III期临床研究表明，疗效确切，安全性好，优于仙灵骨葆，需要开展芪骨胶囊上市后临床研究，明确其降低骨折风险、长期疗效与安全性数据，将是我国第一个开展此类研究的中成药，对指导我国中成药在骨质疏松治疗领域的应用具有示范意义，同时对芪骨胶囊的市场占有率的提升意义重大。项目研究计划联合省内外骨质疏松研究领先医院，采用随机、对照、多中心临床试验设计，采用标准用药方案，评价12月-24月用药，采用客观疗效评价指标，评价产品的疗效，同时监测用药的安全性实验室指标，并统计骨折发生率   [更多]

Although the diseases are to a large extent manageable using clotting factor supplement therapies, FVIII and FIX treatment needs to be monitored in order to ensure that it meets the requirements of the individual patients’ plasma level of the coagulations factor to be supplemented.
